With techniques acquired more in welding school and fab shops than during the completion of his degrees and diplomas, publishing and record contracts, film scores and jingles, residency gigs, festivals, tours, workshops, radio, television, club and sidewalk appearances, Paul Taylor has been known to literally break in pianos. He broke three strings on the old piano at Manhattans and put his finger right through a keyboard – “I like being a welder/fitter, it gives me better tone.”
Drummer and percussionist, Pete Pascetta’s professional style has taken him from teaching at the Conservatory of Music, to touring Europe and North America. Performing in many venues from festivals to bars and recording with many acts. Pete is a jingle writer and performer of a wide range of music from jazz to country. In addition, he has worked on audio portions of film, videos, and animated works. Some of the professional bands that Pete has toured and recorded with are: Adrian Raso, Enzo and the Surf Riders, Delerium, Danny Brooks, Stu Hayden, Douglas Watson and The R & B Revue, Lesley Pike, Black Cat Bone, Risque, Rodium, Little Joe and the Werewolves, to name a few. Pete is proud to be part of Open Stage Tuesdays @ Manhattans.
